The savior is the perfect example!

So last week I burned my arm really bad and then I accidentally cut it open a day or two later right over the burn. Well its fine now but I’m probably going to have a good-looking scar in a moon shape on my arm.
This week was full of unexpected opportunities! First we went and had dinner on Wednesday at a Chinese restaurant and the owners kids were at a table playing. The little restaurant was full so we ordered our food and the only two chairs where the kids were playing. So we went over and sat with them. They were so cute and fun! I took out my Ipad a we drew pictures on it. When our food came we told them we were going to say a prayer on the food and the folded their arms and bowed their heads. It was so nice! Even though we didn’t share a message with them but a simple prayer. But some times that’s all it takes!
We went over to Sister Taylors house this week and we reorganized 2 of her bedrooms. It took us 5 hours and some of the stuff in their had not been moved in 20 years! But it was amazing to see the difference from before and after.
On Friday I made my first pizza from scrap! It was so good! We had a lesson with Eddie and his friend from Michigan was there. She is super nice and her name was Suzette and we shared a video with them about Christ and his Atonement. She started to cry as she talked about her husband and dad that had passed away a few years ago. We were able to bare our testimony with her about families and how we will see them again. The spirit was so strong. This is why I’m out here so people can feel the spirit and learn of important truths that I’ve known my whole life.
Saturday we went to a new members house and we pulled up weeds and roots and roots out of the flower bed…… so many roots! My companion and I were covered in mud and our hands were stained red. They looked really wrinkly and old!
Today we got to tour an opera house in downtown Newberry! It was super cool! it is apparently haunted! Oh and we found out that Newberry has one of the most haunted cemeteries in all of America! and Its in our area……. Will see if we ever make it over there! We’re going to go strawberry picking with a member today! Oh and on April 23 My companion and I get to go to the Temple with one of her resent converts!!! We’re so excited!!!
Spiritual Thought:
“For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; Naked, and ye clothed me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.” Matthew 25:35-36
I am so excited for the I was a stranger project the church is doing!! Think of all the people that will have hope brought back in to their lives!
I love you all!
Love Always,
Sister Malo
