Dear family and friends! This has been a long week!
Monday we went over to Sister Romans and she made us this Portugal soup that was amazing!
Tuesday we saw Judy and had an amazing lesson with her about prophets! Her understanding of the Gospel is amazing!
Wednesday we went and saw sister Rankin. She can barely talk now but she’s still a fire cracker. She made me promise her to never give up. She is declining a lot now but her spirit is still so strong. It’s amazing I’ve seen her every week since I’ve been here. And she has helped me so much with her sweet spirit and the love that she has for us. She is one of the strongest women I know.
Thursday highlight I almost died…… A member took us to frozen yogurt and on the way home my throat started to swell and it felt like I had knots every where in my throat. But I drank half a bottle of Benadryl and I am still alive! I still don’t know what it was that caused that to happen but I’m alive and that’s all that matters! We had a lesson with Gustavo who is one of the Spanish Elders investigators we got from them. We had a member who spoke Spanish come with us and they translated everything we said to him. My companions and I are trying to learn how we can pray in Spanish so that’s been fun! But no matter what language you speak it doesn’t matter because the spirit can still testify to them of truth!
Friday we had interviews with president! Saturday we ran out of miles so we walked everywhere but it was really nice outside so it was ok! We meet a couple new families we have started teaching!
Sunday we taught the young men 16-18 about the plan of salvation!
