Dear World

Dear You,
So I have two new companions! Sister Carlson and Sister McMullens! They are both pretty fantastic! Sister Carlson is exactly like my sister Sammy it’s crazy! Oh and I’m driving and I’ve only made my companions cry once! So I guess that’s progress!Sister McMullens will only sit in the back seat now. She keeps saying I’m not a bad driver…… Yet she sits in the back.

This week has been crazy and going by so fast. The Spanish Elders got taken out of the area and we got a second set of English Elders. So we got all of the Spanish Elders investigators. So my companions and I are on a bilingual missions now! Over half of our investigators speak mostly Spanish! So I might know some when I come home. (Gift of tongues where are you.)

This week we have met so many new people it’s crazy. And last Sunday I gave a talk about testimonies. Best part about being the second speaker is you can go as long or short as you want! But I was really cool to give a talk I am really starting to like talking to a lot of people at once! The people here are awesome and I can’t believe half of the people I’ve met! So I’ve been very creative since I came out here. My companions and I decided we wanted waffle fries but we have no money and so we got creative. We have a waffle maker and potatoes. So we mashed the potatoes and put them in the waffle iron. Long story short they ended up being like hash browns but it was still good!

Well I love you all!

Spiritual thought –

2 Nephi 2:15 And to bring about his eternal purposes in the end of man, after he had created our first parents, and the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and in fine, all things which are created, it must needs be that there was an opposition; even the forbidden fruit in opposition to the tree of life; the one being sweet and the other bitter. 16 Wherefore, the Lord God gave unto man that he should act for himself. Wherefore, man could not act for himself save it should be that he was enticed by the one or the other.

We all have agency! The ability to choose for our self. It’s the greatest gift of all!
Love Always,
Sister Malo
