Life is a big nut shell

This week has been very eventful. We are finally teaching people who want to know what the gospel can bring them. It’s amazing to see people change in a matter of minutes when they feel the spirit. We are teaching to brothers Dwight and Noe. the  understanding that these young men had when reading the scriptures was amazing. I was mind blown by how powerful the spirit was there. This past week I’ve really come to understand more that we are a mouth piece for the Lord, and sometimes its ok to not say anything and let the spirit do the work. I’ve also come to know the difference from going in to an appointment and not having the spirit verse having it. No matter what we say it does thing if the spirit isn’t there with us.

So my expectations of a mission were a little skewed. I though I would have been chased by 2 dogs at least and had a gun put in my face and screamed at a lot more. I’m not saying I’m not grateful that hasn’t happened because I am! I can not even begin to imagine what I will understand when I get off my mission because my knowledge and understanding of the gospel has increased so much in this past month its amazing.
I don’t really have any big story to tell this week other then I had a bag milkshake on Monday and as a result  I used the bathroom 5 times in 1 hour.

Spiritual Thought,
“Don’t give up when the pressure mounts. Certainly don’t give in to that being who is bent on the destruction of your happiness. Face your doubts. Master your Fears. ‘Cast now away therefore your confidence.’ Stay the course and see the beauty of life unfold for you.” – Elder Jeffrey R. Holland

Life is hard and no one said it was going to be easy. This quote has really helped me these past few weeks. When you make a decision in life and its a righteous one don’t let Satan sway you from it with doubts or fears. When you trust in Christ and you let him in then their is no place that doubt can be. Fear and doubt can not exist in the same place as Faith and Hope.  You just have to decide whether you will trust in the Lord or in your doubts. Heavenly father wants us to be happy and that will never change. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and wants the best for me. I know that through Jesus Christ I can come home. I am so grateful for this knowledge and the peace that it brings me. I hope all of you can come to know this because it bring joy and peace when life gets tuff. I love you all so much and I’m grateful for all of you.

Love Always,
Sister Malo
